SBG provided general contracting services for East Main Quarters, a 252 bed, suite-style luxury Student Housing project located just off the campus of Middle Tennessee State University. This project although scheduled for completion in Fall 2016 was completed for the Spring semester 2016 due to the highly accelerated schedule in less than eight months of construction time. Individual resident units consist of four individual suite areas that include kitchenettes, sitting areas, private full bathrooms, and a common living and kitchen area. Resident units include true stainless steel appliances, designer cabinets with granite countertops, vinyl plank flooring, and mini-split cooling and heating units in each resident suite. This project includes a clubhouse with leasing and management offices and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Almost one third of the project’s parking and drives are pervious pavers over underground stormwater retention.
