The Tradition at Northgate is an 808 bed, off-campus, dormitory-style Student Housing property with attached six-level parking deck located in College Station’s Northgate area just off the Texas A&M’s flagship campus in College Station. SBG provided general contracting services to perform this sophisticated renovation for Haven Campus Communities of Atlanta, Georgia. Construction consisted of demolition of the existing 427 dormitory units, removal and replacement of all MEP systems, and extensive renovations which resulted in 808 luxury student living resident units with full resident unit kitchens and laundries, addition of a 4,000 square foot clubhouse, state-of-the-art computer lab, renovation of an existing 5,000 square foot fitness center with the addition of a Fitness-on-Demand area, elevator re-fits, complete existing swimming pool renovation, addition of a fountain and outdoor kitchens, rework of existing sewer and water systems to the site, and major landscaping renovations. The Tradition of Northgate finished on-time and in-budget.
